Michela Ferrari

Michela Ferrari was born in Rome. After completing classical studies she attended the Instituto Centrale di Restauro in Rome. In 1984 she moves to Milan where, thanks to her excellent knowledge of languages, she started the carreer of assistant director and set designer. She collaborated with the best italian and foreign directors working for major advertising agencies and productions. She contributed  to make hundreds of commercials; many of these commercials have marked the recent history of communication. At the same time she was involved in archaeological photography and started a collaboration with the ENCYCLOPEDIA TRECCANI. Back to Rome she began a long series of television experiences with MEDIASET- TITANUS and RAI as director / writer and producer. In 2003 he wrote and directed the short “HANDS UP” and won the 1st prize ETRURIA FILM FESTIVAL. The short has been selected and screened at numerous international film festivals. Thanks to her innate creative attitude, she started realizing interiors objects and in 2003 she presented her first collection of lamps and lampshades and tables with spectacular effect, entirely hand made. She had participated successfully in many group exhibitions of art design. Her productions are distributed in several shops and art galleries.
